K-8 Field Trip / Monday, September 25th

Chapman School will be participating in a Coastwalk Cleanup sponsored by The Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies on Monday, September 25. This event is for grades K-8! We are very excited to participate and help make our Anchor Point beach a clean and respected place in our community. The Coastwalk Cleanup will focus on marine debris in our local landscape, and stewardship of our local environment. Please volunteer for this event and come support our students as they strive to make our community a better place!
Logistics: Students will need rain gear! Students must be prepared for ANY weather, as we will be outside for several hours. Fourth through eighth grade will be walking from Chapman to the beach and need to be prepared for the one mile walk! Kinder through third needs volunteer drivers to help shuttle them down after an earlier lunch. If you’d like to help drive, and have the volunteer driving form turn in to Debbie, please let Jon Sharp know ASAP.
We hope to see you on Monday, and thank you for supporting Chapman School students!
